Must Escape the Ice Castle

Walkthrough

• While travelling, you came upon this ice castle. You decide to explore the castle but you were caught. Now….. You must escape the ice castle!
• You are chained to the wall. Click the fork that is setting on the tray of food to take it.
• Turn left or right to view the other side of the room. You can’t reach much but you can take the big rock. Turn back around and look close at the chain. There’s a link that appears to be weak. Use the big rock to break the weak link.
• You’re free! Turn around and take the map from the wall. There’s a big keyhole, use the fork in the key hole to unlock the door.
• After unlocking the door go up through the door and then make your way to the end of the hall to the left. The gate is locked. Click on the flag on the wall. There are 4 colors on the shield. Each one has a number, Blue=1, Green=2, Red=3 and Yellow=4. Now click on the switch on the right side of the gate. Press the buttons until they are in the same order as the colors on the shield. Top=Blue, Second one down=Green, Third one down=Red and the bottom one=Yellow. Now flip the switch to raise the gate.
• Now head up the stairs. Take the purple bowl of food on the table. Click on the cabinet to open it. Inside you will find an un-lit torch, take the torch. On the table sits a mold for a key. You will need to come back here later.
• Leave the room by clicking the down arrow. Move right 5 times until you reach the wood stove. Open the stove and light the torch on the flame inside the stove.
• Turn right and then go up the stairs. There’s a crowbar hidden behind the tub of warm water. Take the crowbar.
• Go back down stairs, and turn left. Use the crowbar to remove the axe and then take it from the wall.
• Turn right, use the axe to break the ice covering the ladder, once the ice has been removed take the ladder.
• Turn left 5 times until you reach the bookcase. Use the torch to light the candle on the wall. The bookcase will slide to reveal a secret staircase. Before heading down click on the only purple book at the bottom of the bookcase. The book is locked and requires a pass code. Click on the metal label on the top of the bookcase. The word LESS, click it again and it will flip to reveal that it isn’t word it’s a number (5537) Click on the book once more and change the numbers to 5537 and click the switch to open the book. Inside the pages are empty! Look at the bottom right page, you will find something gold! Click it to reveal a gold key.
• Now go down the stairs. Use the ladder to make a bridge to cross the pit. The chest is locked! Use the gold key to unlock the chest. Inside you will find a gold goblet. Take the goblet.
• Go back upstairs, go all the way right to the end of the hall, then go upstairs. Fill the goblet with water from the tub.
• Now go back downstairs and head all the way to the left end of the hall. Go upstairs and pour the water from the goblet into the key mold. You made an ice key! Take the ice key.
• Go back down stairs, turn right 2 times. Go up the stairs, open the cabinet and take the bowl of food from inside.
• Go back downstairs and the turn right 2 times. Click the painting of the king to move it and reveal a button. Press the button to remove the glass from the picture to the right. Once the glass has been removed you can take the bowl of food!
• Turn left, use the ice key to unlock the door. Now go through the door and meet the king!
• The king wants 4 bowls of food. You can place the bowls of food you have, one on each of the 4 silver platters. Then take the wooden spoon that is on the table to the right.
• Go back out of the king’s room and then turn right. Go up the stairs and use the wooden spoon on the pot of food. Once the food has been poured into the bowl, take the bowl of food.
• Go back down stairs, turn left then go up into the king’s room. Place the bowl of food, once all 4 bowls of food are set for the king, he will give you a black key.
• Go back out of the king’s room, turn left, and use the black key to unlock the door. Once the door is open go through it.
• Congratulations! You escaped the ice castle!
